Well it was a funny story we were looking at buying a 2nd car, one we could enjoy together. So I was watching Gumtree when I spotted this 74 Stingray RHD it had to be RHD as I wanted Anne-Marie to feel safe driving it. So I rang the No and the guy answered Hi Ray how you been turned our it was my Ex Brother In Law so we chatted did the deal got it cheaper than advertised (Now know why). So anyway a mate and myself drove down to Kempsey and picked it up. its been a labour of love blood sweat tears and Arguments 5yrs later its till here its spent more time off the road than on but hopefully I have now found someone who can get it going properly. its a 1974 Stingray Right Hand Drive Coupe with the Tuned Port Injection Motor out of a C4 its Auto runs aftermarket wheels 15×8 Convo Pro Wheels has 2 Murals under the bonnet (Hood) lol, Runs a Motech Gen II Fuel management system(The main problem) .
When we have taken it out running nights with the roof off and the breeze in your hair the sound of the V8 and the looks it is just an amazingly awesome experience. The smile on Anne-Maries face when were out in it is worth all the dramas.
As founding members we experienced the good side of clubs and the worst side we decided to form this club based on Friendship Fun and Murual Respect its not about Corvette’s V’s Mustang’s V’s Dodge its about appreciation of other Marquee;s and Other Members Fun,Friendship and Fantastic Cars.
