1974 Chervolet Corvette Stingray
BLACK BETTY!!!!!
Purchased in June 2018 on for 44th Birthday – Happy Birthday to me!
Originally lived in Illinois USA until she was imported to Australia in 2016.
Betty & I were born in the same year – July for Me, September for Betty.
Matching Numbers 454 Big Block, Betty came out of the factory white, but was changed to black when imported.
Since I have had her, stripped off her dress and done a re-spray and completely re-done the interior to black with red trim work.
With all new suspension, Exhaust System, Ceramic Headers, she now drives well and really loud!!! If you are going to own a V8, make sure it’s loud LOL.
Driving down the highway always makes me feel like I am on cloud 9 as I have wanted a Corvette since I will a little kid.
After joining a local car club, Betty & I quickly made friends with 3 beautiful women and became “The Curvettes”. Ever since, we have been thick as thieves and have had many adventures together with our husbands, “The Potbellies”
Starting “The Curvettes & The Potbellies Car Club” with these wonderful people has ensured that we can be who we are and not be told what we can do.
We are all about having a laugh (even at ourselves!) and enjoy our beautiful cars and having the freedom to be who we are.
